Test and Characterization Laboratory Infrastructure

As of October 2025, following the closure of the Test and Characterization unit, these laboratories and their activities were transferred to the ODTÜ-GÜNAM Technical Infrastructure. They continue operating at the Research Park under three R&D approaches: electrical, optical and structural measurement laboratories.

Electrical analysis: Flash Solar Simulator (Class AAA — Quicksun), Suns-Voc test system (Sinton), continuous solar simulator (Spire and Newport), contact resistance measurement — TLM (Pvtools), 4-point probe sheet resistance measurement system (Jandel), solar cell quantum efficiency (Bentham), current-voltage measurement device (Keithley), solar cell test and sorting system (Mondragon).

Optical analysis: UV-Vis transmittance and reflectance spectroscopy, spectroscopic ellipsometer, optical microscope, photoluminescence spectroscopy, thermal camera, carrier lifetime and I-Voc system (Sinton), electroluminescence imaging (MBJ), photoluminescence imaging (Semilab).

Structural analysis: Raman spectroscopy (Horiba), atomic force microscope (Nanomagnetics), scanning electron microscope (Zeiss), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, mechanical profilometer, X-ray diffraction (Rigaku), electrochemical capacitance-voltage measurement — ECV (WEP).
