Kayseri AgriPV Facility – Erciyes

Located at Kayseri-Erciyes, this AgriPV facility is an important component of the ODTÜ-GÜNAM living-lab infrastructure, aiming to test AgriPV system performance under different climate and altitude conditions.

The facility has 120 M10-type bifacial solar modules arranged in a 5-row × 24-panel layout, with an installed capacity of 30 kW DC and 30 kW AC. The AgriPV application area is 329 m², with simultaneous measurement and comparison carried out against a reference agricultural plot of the same size.

This setup allows detailed analysis of how high altitude, low temperature and increased albedo affect both agricultural output and PV energy yield. With data obtained particularly on climate adaptation, bifacial module performance and microclimate–energy interaction, the Kayseri facility contributes significantly to regional suitability analyses of AgriPV systems in Türkiye.
