Ayaş AgriPV Facility – Ankara

The AgriPV facility established in Ayaş is one of the key research infrastructures extending ODTÜ-GÜNAM's outdoor performance testing and validation platform. Prior to the project, a tripartite protocol was signed between the farmer, the Ayaş District Directorate of Agriculture and ODTÜ-GÜNAM, allocating the agricultural land for ODTÜ-GÜNAM's free use.

The facility has 224 M10-type bifacial solar modules arranged in a 14-row × 16-panel layout, with a total DC power of 123.2 kW and AC power of 90 kW. The AgriPV application area is 1,875 m², with simultaneous comparative measurements carried out on a reference agricultural plot of the same size.

The Ayaş facility is a multi-purpose living lab that enables joint monitoring of photovoltaic module performance, shading ratios, microclimate parameters and agricultural output. In this respect, it serves as a reference research platform both for preserving the contribution to agricultural production and for evaluating PV system performance under real field conditions.
