Bursa AgriPV Facilities – Mustafakemalpaşa

The AgriPV infrastructure at Bursa-Mustafakemalpaşa is a comprehensive living-lab structure consisting of the S-ATP BURSA and PV4PLANTS BURSA subsystems, enabling multiple AgriPV configurations to be tested at the same location.

At this site, different module types (PERC bifacial, GCC and standard M10 modules), different array configurations, and AgriPV designs with a 28% coverage ratio have been evaluated together. The systems are installed in the range of 10–25 kWe AC and 13 kWp DC, with annual energy production ranging from 20,722 kWh/year to 58,820 kWh/year.

For each AgriPV configuration, reference agricultural plots of equal size (230–540 m²) are defined, and agricultural yield, microclimate parameters and energy production are monitored simultaneously. The Bursa facilities generate comparative, high-value data on AgriPV design optimization, the effects of coverage ratio, and the interaction of different module technologies with agricultural output — particularly in temperate climate regions with high agricultural diversity.
