Innovation, Reliability and Integration in the PV Module Industry: Workshop Outcomes Featured in Gündergi

The outcomes of the PV Module Technologies Workshop, organized by the ODTÜ-GÜNAM IntegratedPV Division in collaboration with Fraunhofer ISE, are featured in the article “A New Milestone in the PV Module Industry: Innovation, Reliability, and Integration,” published in the 38th issue of Gündergi. The article was authored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bilge Şentürk, Coordinator of ODTÜ-GÜNAM’s SolarSEED Social Research Division.

The workshop, held in Ankara on 21 May 2026, addressed the competitiveness of Türkiye’s PV module industry, product and technology development, module reliability, testing and certification infrastructure, integrated photovoltaic applications, and export opportunities.

The article emphasizes that the industry should focus not only on expanding production capacity but also on verified performance, a traceable supply chain, innovative products, and reliability in line with international standards.
