☀️ Two contributions from ODTÜ-GÜNAM researchers featured in GÜNDERGİ

An article by Ş. Tayfun Hız, Senior Researcher at ODTÜ-GÜNAM, focusing on recovery methods and circular economy approaches in photovoltaic panels, has been published in Issue 37 of GÜNDERGİ.

The article provides a comprehensive overview of the lifecycle of solar panels, recycling technologies, and sustainable solutions for the growing challenge of PV waste. In particular, projections indicating a significant increase in PV panel waste by 2050 highlight the critical importance of circular economy models.

In the same issue, the Outcome Declaration of the “Solar Thermal Technologies for a Sustainable Türkiye”, held on 12 February 2026 in collaboration with METU and ODTÜ-GÜNAM, has also been published.
