MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUE:
At room temperature, the transient plane source (TPS) sensor is placed in contact with the sample and subjected to a brief electrical current, generating a heat pulse. The sensor simultaneously measures temperature rise, allowing the calculation of thermal conductivity, specific heat, and thermal diffusivity. Sample preparation and sensor placement are carried out in accordance with ISO 22007-2.
REPORTING:
Each test result is delivered in a technical report that includes numerical representations of the measured thermophysical properties. The report also includes details on the methodology, equipment used, uncertainty analysis, and testing conditions.
QUALITY INFORMATION:
Measurements are performed in accordance with ISO 22007-2. The Hot Disk system used is regularly calibrated, and measurement uncertainty is verified through statistical analysis.
